Welcome to St. Paul’s Church, Bangalore! The first Tamil Anglican church in the erstwhile Mysore State (now called Karnataka).

The Church is an epitome of rich heritage for the disciples to worship God, nurture values and edify. It represents a cohesive community and firm Church-leadership that venerates compassion, worship and steadfastness. The Lord has a greater plan and calling for each of its servants. Peace is not driven by a singular force but as a whole. And our Church proposes the value of peace through the love of our Lord under the roof of wisdom, discipline, fellowship and ministry, so we all can be grounded in our faith.

Beloved, let us love one another, because love is from God; everyone who loves is born of God and knows God. Whoever does not love does not know God, for God is love.

1 John 4 : 7-8

Mission

“The Church of South India affirms that the church is the servant of God to carry on the mission rooted in Jesus Christ and based on the scriptures. The church through her mission, expresses solidarity with the broken communities for a new hope to face the challenges of life. The cross continues to be the sign of hope for the witnessing church, which strives towards unity, peace and reconciliation as a vibrant channel of God”.

Vision

We envision being a church known by faith, rooted in love and is a voice of hope to the world.

Value

We believe in a Church that embodies righteousness, in planting deep seeds of virtuosity in the minds and hearts of the young, and commends the elderly to be a testament of morality and justice, embarking on a journey of justice and righteousness.
