From the Presbyter’s Desk
I am extremely delighted to bring my greetings to one and all on behalf of St. Paul’s Church, a historical church, which was established in the year 1840.
The church has grown leaps and bounds venturing into varied situations pressing upon the love of Christ. Being located in a context of hybridity, the church has evolved to be an open space for all who seek hope and healing in their journey. In the words of Dietrich Bonhoeffer, a German Theologian, “The Church is not a religious community of worshippers of Christ but is Christ himself who has taken form among people.” In other simple terms the Church is Christ-Incarnated.
Let St. Paul’s Church affirm through its presence the Christ-Incarnated who is engaged in incarcerating all the evils that takes us away from the love of Christ.
May the love of Christ, mend us, bind us, build us and bless us to be a witnessing community.
